Andy
Financial Planner
Originally from Northern Ireland, Andy moved to the North East in 1993 to study Economics at Newcastle University and has remained here ever since. Andy co-founded Co-Navigate in 2015 having been a financial adviser since 1998.
Married to Charlie, who works as a doctor, they have three daughters. Andy’s faith is very important to him and he is an active member of Jesmond Parish Church, where he is involved in a number of youth groups which is something he has loved doing for nearly 20 years.
Andy is passionate about his work in financial services and has developed strong client relationships with medical professionals in particular. As an advocate of ethical investments, he has developed an expertise in designing bespoke ethical portfolios tailored to his client’s personal views and beliefs.
Jamie
Financial Planner
Born and bred in Newcastle upon Tyne, Jamie studied law in Leicester before moving to London where he worked for HMRC. He returned to Newcastle to start working as a financial adviser in 2002 and was one of the original co-founders of Co-Navigate in 2015.
He is married to Kathryn and together they have three young daughters who take up most of his time. He loves exploring new places with them and they often travel around the UK and beyond.
Jamie advises across all areas of financial planning with a particular specialism in dealing with business owners. He is passionate about helping clients understand their goals and aspirations, and then working alongside them as a financial coach to ensure that these goals are achieved.
Lyndsey
Mortgage & Protection Adviser
Lyndsey joined the team as our Mortgage Specialist in 2015 becoming a director in 2016. She has been a mortgage adviser since 2004 after graduating from Newcastle University.
Married to Graham, they have a young daughter and both love keeping fit. A qualified running coach, she is also proud to be the first female chair of her local harriers club.
She prides herself on her extremely high standards of customer service and is relentless in ensuring our clients get the best possible outcome. Buying a house is normally a very stressful time but Lyndsey loves walking clients through the process until everything is complete to try and make it as stress-free as possible.
Stuart
Mortgage & Protection Adviser
Stuart joined us in 2021 having self-studied his financial planning diploma.
He is married to his Sophie and they live together with their dog, Iggy. Stuart is a lover of all things food and drink and a keen home cook. When he isn’t busy imitating Gordon Ramsey, Stuart can be found attending gigs and festivals all over the country as a big fan of live music. He is also an avid watcher of NBA (that’s basketball for those that don’t know) and enjoys running to keep fit.
Stuart is a fully qualified mortgage and protection adviser, and helps our advisers and clients make informed decisions through the minefield of insurance options available.
Fiona
Mortgage & Protection Support
Fiona joined us in 2019 having never worked in financial services, but with a strong background in customer service. She quickly made the role her own becoming an invaluable member of the mortgage team.
She recently bought her first home with her husband, Sean. In her spare time, Fiona can be found doing jigsaw puzzles or cross-stiches. She is a keen volleyball player and competes in the local women’s league. She often cycles to the office on her e-bike – generally when the weather is fair!
Fiona supports our mortgage advisers and our clients by liaising with lenders and solicitors, and making the process as smooth and stress-free as possible. She strives to provide the best possible service to our clients, often repeating her mantra “there is no such thing as a silly question”.
Brenda
Financial Planning Support
Brenda started life as an administrator within financial services in 2001 and has since worked for one of the largest and most well-known financial firms in the North-East. She joined Co-Navigate in 2019 in order to have more direct involvement with clients and to set herself a new challenge.
She is married to Philip and has two grown-up daughters, and in 2021 became a proud grandma. She is a keen runner, but also a lover of rock music and real ale and enjoys attending the occasional beer festival. Her hopes for the future are to enjoy life and travel more.
Brenda’s role is to provide the financial planners and their assistants with the administrative support required for us to deliver a first class service to our clients.
Dan Bullen
Financial Planning Support
Dan originally joined Co-Navigate from school as an apprentice in 2017, starting life as a mortgage assistant. He joined the financial planning team in 2019 and has been studying for his financial planning diploma.
He is a keen sportsman, having represented Berwick in junior tennis. It is golf however which is his main passion, playing whenever he gets the opportunity having recently turned professional.
Dan is an integral part of the Co-Navigate team, helping the advisers with client reports and technical support.
Dan Fenton
Financial Planning Support
Dan Fenton is the newest member of the team having joined us from a large financial advice firm in early 2022.
He is a passionate football fan and Arsenal supporter. He enjoys date nights with his partner, Jordon, and nights out socialising with friends. He loves visiting his family dogs in Scotland and is a huge Abba fan.
Dan’s role is to support our advisers by helping to prepare and implement financial plans and provide technical support. He is currently studying for his diploma in financial advice.
